Interesting article for what it is missing, Wally.
As logic would have it, doesn't the medical profession already have the "right" to perform medically that which saves a patient's life? I am unaware doctors are prohibited now to perform a late-term abortion, if it is the cause of the mother's imminent death. Wally, how about a follow-up article after researching this question? I am a strong supporter of a woman's right to choose, and would tolerate no repeal of Roe v. Wade, yet find this late-term "doctor" bill without justification. BTW, you didn't say who drafted the bill and who's supporting it? Is Napolitano supporting it this time around? Go back to the drawing board and tell us more.
