Saban challenges Arpaio to seven debates

Democratic candidate for Sherriff, Dan Saban, has challenged Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio to seven debates from July through October. Saban is proposing the candidates meet in Anthem, Guadalupe, Sun City, Sun Lakes, Wickenburg and twice in Phoenix. Saban is giving Arpaio until July 1st to accept. If Arpaio does not accept the challenge Saban plans to have town hall meetings in the locations stated to answer questions from the voters.

Why should Joe bother?

Joe shouldn't dignify Dan Saban by bothering to argue with him. Joe is the only law enforcement officer in Arizona actually enforcing our laws fully, and Saban has already said he won't enforce the laws he doesn't agree with (immigration laws). Joe's resume is also so much deeper than Saban's and he has a 50+ year record to stand on. There isn't much to debate really. Joe has the job as long as he wants it.
