Arizona Corporation Commissioner Kris Mayes takes first step towards CD1 race

Arizona Corporation Commissioner Kris Mayes (R-Prescott) today formed an exploratory committee to look at a possible run in Arizona’s 1st Congressional District. Mayes also announced that former Arizona Congressman Matt Salmon has pledged his support for her potential candidacy, and that Malcolm Barrett, a prominent businessman and community leader from Prescott, has agreed to act as her Finance Chairman.
