May says he's still in the CD3 race
By Alex Isenstadt, Politicker.com ReporterIncumbent Congressman John Shadegg is back in the race, but Republican state legislator Steve May tells the Arizona Republic he's not backing down.
"Republican Steve May, a former legislator and gay activist, earlier in the day reaffirmed his commitment to the race. 'It's time for a new direction in the way our district is represented,' he said."
