Obama building AZ organization
By Evan Brown, PolitickerAZ.com ReporterDENVER -- The veil has been lifted a little on the Obama campaign's plans for Arizona, and they will all flow from state director Kelly Paisley.
It has been known for some time, but not advertised or even officially acknowledged, that a state director has been chosen for the efforts of Illinois Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign in the Grand Canyon State.
Thursday, Paisley and Gov. Janet Napolitano chief of staff Dennis Burke both acknowledged that she will command the nascent Obama organization, which is in the process of being staffed.
Though still very much in the developmental stage, Paisley, who worked as part of former Vice Pres. Al Gore's National Partnership for Reinventing Government and in Napolitano's administration, said it was "thrilling" to be putting together Obama's team for Arizona, and that the work was progressing fairly quickly.

With Paisley at the helm
With Paisley at the helm it's possible and doable for Obama to take Arizona. The grass roots support from the Dems is there for Obama but McCain won't get anything of the kind from the angry Republicans.
