Napolitano gets Tuesday night slot at Democratic convention

Gov. Janet NapolitanoGov. Janet Napolitano is scheduled to address the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday, Aug. 26, according to a press release from the Democratic National Convention Committee.
Napolitano, who was perhaps the most prominent of U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's endorsers prior to his win in the Iowa caucuses, will appear on the same night as Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius and U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.), who will speak in the prime-time spot.
According to the release, Napolitano and Sebelius "will outline [Obama's] detailed economic plan to grow the economy, create jobs, restore fairness and expand opportunity."
Napolitano also addressed the 2004 DNC, and is considered to be in the running for U.S. attorney general if Obama is elected.
