Lord campaign says it will record best quarter to date

Congressional candidate Bob Lord: Campaign photoCongressional candidate Bob Lord: Campaign photoThe Bob Lord campaign will report that it raised more money in the 2nd quarter than in any previous quarter, according to Lord campaign manager Andrew Eldredge-Martin.

"We're really pleased with how the quarter went, and especially pleased that we now have over 3,000 individual contributors," Eldredge-Martin told PolitickerAZ.com. "It's our best quarter ever."

However, he said the campaign was still receiving contributions sent before the June 30 deadline, and therefore they aren't able to release a total yet.

This quarter is seen as being particularly crucial to Lord's chances of besting his rival in the 3rd Congressional District race. He unexpectedly outraised opponent U.S. Rep. John Shadegg (R-Phoenix) in the first quarter of the year, and is hoping to keep up the fundraising pace to stay competitive with the long-serving incumbent.

get a clue

When are Arizonians going to figure out that Shadegg isn't looking out for them. Vote for Shadegg if you want, but you're still going to be paying $5 a gallon and then Shadegg is going to spend YOUR tax dollars to subsidize the big oil companies. Talk about getting screwed twice.

I'll never vote for Shadegg again.

Not with gas prices so high

Shadeg is a lock. This district race isn't even on the national radar. It is a great waste of time, money and hot air for Lord to be running. The Dems that won 2 years ago all said that they would lower gas prices and get us out of Iraq. 2 years later where are we? Still in Irag and gas prices 50% higher.

Even the savior of the Dem Party, NOBAMA has said he wont get the troops out in his promised 16 mos,

The Dems control congress and they have a 17% approval rating and he wants in? I see Harry and Giffords both losing. It will be fun to watch.

Keep the donations going...

It sounds like this was a good quarter, but all the Bob Lord supporters out there (myself included), need to keep the donations flowing in. This summer is where the rubber meets the road, and things start getting expensive. If Bob is going to be able to win this seat, he is going to need a ton of cash to fight off Shadegg and all of his money from big oil.

GO BOB GO......

I knew you had it in you Bob. Keep up the good work!

The 3rd district is ready for a breath of fresh air!
