5th Congressional District candidate Jim Ogsbury is the first in his field to go up with a TV ad, his campaign has announced.
The 30 second ad, called "Action," has Ogsbury touting how he "helped to cut government spending" as an aide to the U.S. House Appropriations Committee in the 1990s, and speaking of how he plans to "secure the border"

Cut Spending?
Since when does an aide actually cut spending? He is just another blow hard lobbyist trying to trick the public into thinking he stands for less gov't. Most lobbyist thrive on more government and more government spending.
I know that Laura Knaperek was the appropriations chair in the State House and helped pass the biggest tax reduction in state history. She was not an aide. She was an elected official with a vote and she voted wisely.
She is our work horse and will represent CD5 like never before.
Jim, I am sure you are a nice guy, but please dont tell the public that aides pass legislation. That just isnt true. If it was we wouldn't need to vote for our representation, would we?
