Pioneer Newspaper, the most widely read paper in northeastern Arizona, has endorsed 1st Congressional District candidate Dr. Sandra Livingstone (R).
LeAnn Arganbright, the paper's publisher, heaped praise upon Livingstone.
"Rarely is a candidate so entirely and uniquely qualified for this extremely influential and important position," said Arganbright. "Sandra Livingstone has a substantial first hand understanding of the issues that face Arizona rural communities and the needs of the nation as a whole. It is our hope that the people vote for Dr. Livingstone to send a strong message to Washington DC that Arizona is not going to take the mismanagement of our natural resources, our nation's economy, and our foreign policy sitting down any longer."
Livingstone is challenging Republican party-backed candidate Sydney Hay (R) for the GOP primary nomination.
