AZ Dems go after McCain over Renzi

Emily Bittner, spokeswoman for the Arizona Democratic Party, is questioning the appropriateness of Sen. John McCain's comments regarding indicted Rep. Rick Renzi.

In a press release, Bittner commented:

"Being a member of Congress isn't a right, it's a privilege. Elected officials are held to a higher ethical standard. I question Senator McCain's judgment that Renzi is fit to serve out the rest of his term under the cloud of a massive indictment."
